Happy New Year!

New Year's not about renewing yourself, it's about improving yourself. 2010 was indeed a year to remember: started my blog, met new friends online, received a lot of blessings thanks to my family and friends. This has been the best holiday season ever.  I will forever be grateful to everyone!

I can't believe it's been a year already, feels like it has just been days. Long dragging days, I tell you! Hopefully, 2011 would be so much different. I have lots of things to look forward to this year!

1) I hope I get to blog more often. Inspirations please!

2) Justin Bieber's concert in May!!!

3) Reconciling with old friends. (Year 2012 is fast approaching, duh!)

4) Patience is a virtue, man! Yes, I have to achieve that.

The ticket prices are cheap considering it's Justin Bieber's concert. I honestly didn't expect it like this. I'm desperaaaaaaaate :| And because of this, I was wondering if I could solicit even for a small amount just so I can be one step closer to my dream. A tiny amount will do! (: 

Of course I want to be at the VIP section but if I don't have enough moolah for that, I might just consider being at the Gold A section since it's the closest possible I could be at.

Forgive me?

Forgive me for being M.I.A for more than a month now. It's been a pretty busy month since the second term of college started and I promised myself to focus more on school! Yes, I'm a renewed woman now and I think I'll be staying like this for a long time. Well until I graduate from college and find a decent job -___- After that, I can be free as a bird! 

Haven't really been going out and nothing worth-blogging about has happened but I have a new photo I wanna share! Haha

I'm so happy with my new nail color (: I've been looking for a metallic shade but I couldn't find the exact one so I opted for a glittery one and it works! It's the closest color I could find.

On a totally unrelated note, I hope to be really busy this holiday season! My cousin and I are planning on something really big to do and I hope it'll be a success. I will post photos if that happens. I will work on my writing skills more though!

Goodbye 17. Hello 18.

Usually, I get really excited months before my birthday. I plan impossible things and I exaggerate a lot too. This is not new for a young woman like me. Yes, that sounds weird but I am a young woman now. Talking to friends about how I should celebrate it, endlessly begging my parents for a party (which by the way, I had when I was 1 year old until I was 12 or 13? That, I'm not sure of.) and counting the days before my birthday is awful. 

Last year, I happily celebrated my birthday with my close friends. Sadly, one of my best friends didn't get to spend the day with me. Oh yes, she has been M.I.A for almost a year now too. Anyway, this year isn't different from last year. A year before my birthday, I was looking at online shops listing the items I want. 3 months before November, I was excitingly thinking of stuff I wanna do with friends. A couple of weeks before my birth month, I tweeted a blogger whom I admire, Raleene Cabrera and asked her what she did when she was 18 and replied to me that she only had dinner with her family and a few friends; plus, she doesn't believe on spending millions for a grand party. A day before my birthday, I am sitting here and have no idea on what to do on my one special day.

These past few days, I have been really emotional because I think I deserve to be happy too. Everyone deserves to be happy. Why can't I be happy?

'Tis the season to be jolly, fralalalala-la-la-la-la-la! Well not yet! But here on The Purple Centipede, it's never too early to give some stuff away. That's right, you heard me! I'm planning on throwing an online contest so I need all of you out there! I'm not sure with the mechanics yet and I'm still figuring out what the game is all about but one thing I'm sure of is that I'm giving away . . . (can't tell you yet!)

This one's just a practice post to see how many of you would visit my blog. When I get the number of viewers/followers I need, I will post the mechanics! The sooner, the better! It's my first online contest so I'm really excited! Don't let me down, haha!

A random post for the month of October! An awesome way to start the month, a new haircut!

My friends were saying that they can't believe I chopped off my long locks. I couldn't believe it either but I wanted to get this so 'twas all good! Anyway, it feels so good to have short hair after about 2 years of trying to grow my hair long. Plus, my hair's not THAT short y'know! It's more manageable now and it feels so light.

On a totally unrelated note, 30 days before my birthday! Wooot! I'm turning 18 so I'm pretty excited (: I'm getting older naoooo :"""""">

While I was on Facebook, I came across a photo which a friend posted and I was really interested so I looked for the website on where she and her friend posed for a virtual photo booth! And yes, photos come out like those developed ones that are from that machine. Okay, I sound really dorky but I don't care 'cause I've been enjoying in front of my laptop posing for the photo booth :P Okay, I should stop now 'cause I sound lame already. BLOG turning into a requirement

So why does The Purple Centipede blog? Why do I blog? Honestly, I am not sure of what I'm doing here but I just know that this one's something I really want to do. As long as I have the passion in writing some weird stuff here, I'm good with that! Maybe I'm too lonely that's why I started to blog? One thing I know is that I'm definitely not alone but I feel "accepted" whenever I write anything! I feel independent; like I don't care with what people think (well I do too, sometimes!).

This post is not the end for it's just the beginning of my journey. I still have lots to learn from blogging. When I started TPC, I didn't know that I could encounter a lot of people but I have yet to meet them in person someday! They've been really nice to me and I am eternally grateful! So again, I thank my inspirations! Go check them out as well!

I don't need readers (actually I do, so thank you for my 800+ visitors!). Thank you for my friends that have been constantly visiting and hitting the refresh button (Ha!). Thank you for the people from Australia, Brazil, the USA, Canada, India and I'm not sure of where else my blog is read. I constantly have my bad days but whenever I go check my blog and get a lot of readers, all the negative vibes go bye-bye :)
