The Sun Was High (So Was I)

I know I've been MIA the whole summer and I don't have a legit reason why so I'm just dumping you photos from Instagram which may somehow make up for it. And just so you have an idea on what I've been up to this whole time. Okay, not the whole time since I've been drowning myself with my tv series (e.g. Gossip Girl, 2 Broke Girls, New Girl, Jane by Design, 90210, Pretty Little Liars). My collection of TV series will be the death of me, I swear. Anyway, I haven't been really doing much the past month. I don't even go out in the day. The internet is my best friend now.

Well, this isn't an Instagram photo but I just wanted to show my attempt on a crown braid.

Justin Bieber's new music video's already out. He tweeted, "yep...releasing video for the new song I did for KARATE KID with Jaden Smith 'NEVER SAY NEVER' later 2day!!"

Will Smith's son, Jaden Smith is one of the main cast in the upcoming movie, "Karate Kid" which will be out this June. And oh, of course Jackie Chan's in the movie too! The movie is going to be awesome just by watching the trailer:

BROGUE SHOES is l-o-v-e

Brogue Shoes, what more can I say? Words can't describe of how I feel for these amazing shoes. I want one really bad! I love how they look really manly but still looks good on women. And I know that it'll look good on me (:P) I've already planned on things I'll say to my Mom to convince her to buy me one. I found something really close to Brogue's; they look like one, but I think they aren't.

These shoes are the best 'cause it comes in different styles and colors! How's that! If my convincing powers work, I'll post my new pair ;)

Uh, wait. Who am I?!

I was viewing my Tumblr dashboard a while ago and I came across Saab Magalona's post on The Carrie Diaries. I instantly looked for a summary of the book and found it really really REALLY interesting. One thing popped out of my mind, "I want that book!" So, here I am ranting and ranting lol. I just can't stop ranting huh? Anyway, I will look for that book.

After I read the book, I promise to give a review about it. *pinky swears*

Should I or should I not?

I'm here to rant :| Sorry for the inconvenience.

It's 1:28 in the morning and I seriously should be sleeping right now. I've been thinking about so many things lately and it's been bothering me.

Before I entered college, I had a very hard time deciding what to take and what to focus on. My parents were telling me to major in Accountancy, but I didn't want it because I seriously suck in Math. Like seriously! Lol. Because I really didn't like what they wanted for me, they made me decide for myself. That's why I ended up with Business Administration which I didn't know beforehand that an Accounting subject in that major would be bloody hell hard :| Trust me, it was really hard for me.

Anyhoo, these past few months without doing anything but bumming in front of a laptop sure sucked big time but made me realize what I really want for my future. I've been thinking of changing the path that I took last year and major in Journalism :D This is something new about me but I'm willing to give it a try. I told Dad about this earlier, he frowned and said that I have no future if I choose this. I really don't know about it yet, but I want to take that certain risk. For the first time in my life, I was really sure of this when I made the decision.

Now's the big question, should I or should I not change my path? :|

It's been a week or so since my last post. Uhuh, I was too lazy! Plus, I had nothing good to say so why write here? I'm on Twitter and on Tumblr so that's kind of a blog too right? I guess I'm not THAT lazy. I guess I have to fill this up of what has happened in the past few days. Don't worry, I'll walk you through it.

So my last post here was April 27 and I wrote about me being too tired 'cause of the jog. Well, technically that was the story of my day last April 26 so 27 doesn't really count. And why am I talking to myself while writing this post? Dang it, I'm losing my mind.

Well, all I can remember is that, that's a Tuesday. Oh yea! I stayed home all day. It has been too long and I really can't remember anything about that day. I guess Mom asked me if I wanted to go jogging with her in the morning but I said no 'cause my legs are too sore. Hahaha! Plus, I think I had a hangover from my friend's birthday celebration.

Yay! It's the first day of May and it's Labor Day! My Aunt had to host a lunch for the family so we went to their house then stayed there for a couple of hours, hanged out with my cousins then that's it! Well, I'm kidding. Mom, Dad and I went to the mall and went s-h-o-p-p-i-n-g! Uhuh, I bought a LOT of stuffs just 'cause my sister wasn't with us =P That's the joy of being the youngest child! Hahaha! So yea, I bought a new flat iron. It's a ceramic one! Yay me! <3>

So after a few hours strolling, I asked if we can watch a movie so we did! Well, Dad wasn't that excited :| But it was an okay movie.

Sunday means family day. Spent the day at home. Woke up extremely late! Mom was pissed at me, as always! Attended mass with the family then went home to my Grandma's house to have our going away party for my Aunt who's going back to Canada. Lots of food again, gahhhh! When will this ever end???

Woke up kinda early. Lol. Well, my Aunt left for Manila today :( She's going back to Canada in a day or two. I feel so sad about it that's why I promised myself just a couple of hours ago that if I leave the Philippines, I will never go back unless needed. I mean, it's just hard to let go. If I want to settle somewhere, I have to be just there. It's a must for me. New York, I will see you soon I hope!

SMALL WONDERS

So it's still my first day on this and I think I just had to write this one. Lol.

Earlier today as I was watching the television, I came across Disney Channel. Shocker! I know right! Anyway, as I was on that channel, Meet the Robinsons was on! Yipee! That's like my favorite movie. I mean since 2007 of course because it was released then. Plus, I never get tired of watching that one even though I have seen that for like a hundred times. (Okay, I may be exaggerating.)

I get emotional almost every time I watch that movie. I mean, who doesn't get all emotional after watching a very inspirational movie. Hello? C'mon! IT IS A GOOD MOVIE. No, scratch that. IT'S A GREAT MOVIE! I mean, we all have our dreams right? And sometimes we are not sure of what we really want. I think that we all have been on that phase. I must admit, it is not wrong to be afraid of what's going to happen in the future. That's pretty normal given the fact that we cannot turn back time. That's like history!

Anyway, going back to the movie. Lewis is a kid right? A very good kid. I mean, despite of what has happened to him, he still pursued the thing that he wanted the most. He has no family but that didn't hinder him to reach for his goal. And I believe that all of us should try to be like him. There is no harm in trying. It is okay to fail at first, but that should not stop us. In the movie, when Lewis failed, the family from the future told him that it is okay to fail because in failing you learn to succeed. So why not fail, fail, and fail some more? (I'm kidding, but actually it's sorta true.) I mean, you know, we learn from our mistakes right?

There are a few good quotes from the movie. But two of them struck me the most. The first one's, "Keep Moving Forward" and I think I'll be naming my blog after in a few days. Because right now I'm still confused on what I want to do in the future. But I guess all I have to do is to keep on moving forward to know what happens. And of course, before the movie ended, there was quote from Walt Disney -- "Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things… and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."
