The Twilight Saga: Eclipse - Review

Divisive, awesome, ridiculous, romantic, these are a few of the many things that comes into my mind with the Twilight movies. We all know it came from the great Stephenie Meyer. If you don't know her, you better die now. I have no problem with the movie, it's just that I hate it when they lack some parts from the book. We all have problems with that especially when you're waiting for that particular scene. I was expecting more because I have read the book and it was the only book I've read from the four although I can't wait to read the last one. I know, it's too late but I want to savor it before I catch the next movie that's coming our way.

Directed by David Slade, the third movie that we were all waiting for came out really nice. I must say, it was so far the best Twilight movie I had seen. Who can refuse Jacob Black's yummy abs? The girls (or maybe even guys) were gaga about them. I just couldn't help it! It was driving me nuts! I don't know, but I hate Bella Swan in this movie. Why can't she just pick one?! She's making it hard for Edward Cullen and Jacob. Well, that's how the story goes!

Saw the movie just a while ago and I tell you, it was hard getting in line! I thought this movie would pick up from where the last left off, with Bella answering Edward's proposal but it did not. It was a whole lot different scene even from the book. Same old, same old. Threats to Bella were still there but this time, (thank God!) Edward's going to stick around which is great because I like him. I like to look at him and listen to him speak. And, I love the way that Edward and Bella show their love in the film. What I love most in this installment in the Twilight Saga is that we learn the origins of Victoria and Jasper although it just showed a little in the movie. I am in love with Jasper Hale in this movie -- I got so attached to him!

There are old threats and new threats and alliances made and broken. I think that the centerpiece of Eclipse is the intensifying triangle of Edward and Bella and Jacob. Whichever team you're on, as long as you're really into the movie, I think you'll enjoy more of the Twilight Saga. I give The Twilight Saga: Eclipse a 9 out of 10. Cheers!

Sweet Little L.A.

So I've finished Lauren Conrad's two novels; L.A. Candy and the sequel, Sweet Little Lies. In my previous post, I mentioned that I would be giving reviews about the said novels individually (?) But decided to just give a one-post-review about it. Well, I figured that L.A. Candy has been released in June 16 of last year (2009) so I believe that there are many reviews about it already.

I heard that the book will head up to the big screen, CLICK THE LINK! Isn't that just exciting? Oh yes. Do you know Willa Holland? She might play Scarlett in the movie.

At first, I thought L.A. Candy was "blahhhh" but it gets really interesting as the story progresses. If you ask me, I would definitely say that the novel looks like 'The Hills' turned into a book. Lauren Conrad said that the novel is not based from the series. Well, I don't know about that. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed reading the first one and immediately read the second one in almost one day! The novel is really good that you flip through one page to the other just to know what's happening next to Jane. I would definitely recommend these books to people interested in the lives of private citizens turned Hollywood celebrities in just one night. It will really blow your mind once you know how dirty it really is in the business.

The story is extremely juicy. This one's a big hit to teenagers! Let's see how the third addition to the sequel goes. I heard it's going to be named, "Sugar and Spice."

TOY STORY 3 - Review

We turn into kids once our favorite cartoons head up to the big screen. Well, we all have seen the two Toy Story movies. One was way back in 1995 and the other one was in 1999. It has been about 11 years since the last movie appeared in the big screen and I must say, everyone was pretty excited about it. I believe that this is the best ever Toy Story yet. I didn't know they would be able to keep the magic going on.

Directed by Lee Unkrich, the movie touched almost everyone who watched the movie. It was the perfect addition to the sequel. From the beginning I found myself teary-eyed and happily smiling in my seat until the end of the movie. It was beautifully animated, not just because of the 3-D glasses. This movie had a college crowd laughing really hard, showing that Disney movies are for everyone.

At first, the toys were delighted that they were going to be donated than thrown away. They were really happy that they were going to be played with after many years. Woody was iffy about it and decided to go on his own. Then he was found by Bonnie, a really sweet girl who played with and loves her toys. Woody had so much fun as he was with Bonnie but left her just to return for his old friends.

Yes, it was hard for Andy to let go of his toys, but the best part of the movie was when Andy eventually sacrificed his most beloved toys and gave them to Bonnie. It was really heartbreaking when Andy described Woody, "He'll never give up on you."'

After watching the movie, it made me realize that toys are really really important. That's why I was really emotional during the movie. I thought it was just me but no. Almost all the people I know that have seen the movie were emotional too. It was really worth the wait. Good job, Disney Pixar. Good job!

And hey! Monsters Inc. 2 will eventually be released on November 2012 so let's wait for that really soon.

Mickey who?

(Sorry for the extreme flash from the camera lol)

My best bud and I were supposed to buy the same pair of sneakers! Well I bought it first. I really love the print, makes me wanna go back to my childhood days :| Oh, and the sneakers comes in Purple and Green too.

I'm really not a big fan of Mickey Mouse but because of this, I love him already! I'm totally in love with these (heart)

FIRST FIVE got me high.

First five's aren't just for Basketball games :P

There were more than a hundred photos so it took me so long to choose from all of them to post here. Posted every single one on Facebook so I don't think I'd have to post 'em here. Anyway, I met bands last night from the Tanduay First Five concert (heart)

6cyclemind, Chicosci, Sandwich, Kamikazee and Bamboo. It was my 2nd year attending this concert and I must say, it was a good one! It was better than the last one so I'm hoping next year's going to be the best!

Raymond Marasigan from Sandwich.
Kamikazee's Jay! It was his birthday that day.
With 6cyclemind's, Ney.
With Bamboo's, Ira Cruz.
With Chicosci's, Miggy Chavez :">
(This wasn't our only picture. I had tons of photos with him. He was super nice.)

They were all nice! Can't wait for next year's show. I had photos with all of them except for Bamboo :| And I wasn't THAT happy about it. I was really disappointed :|
