Justin Bieber: My World Tour

The concert I've been waiting for my whole Justin-Bieber-fan life!

Ticket Prices:
VIP - Php8,429.00

Gold A - Php5268.00

Gold B - Php5,268.00 (Free Seating)

Silver - Php3,687.60 (Standing Only)

Bronze - Php2,107.20 (Standing Only)

General Admission - Php790.20 (Standing Only)

The ticket prices are cheap considering it's Justin Bieber's concert. I honestly didn't expect it like this. I'm desperaaaaaaaate :| And because of this, I was wondering if I could solicit even for a small amount just so I can be one step closer to my dream. A tiny amount will do! (:

Of course I want to be at the VIP section but if I don't have enough moolah for that, I might just consider being at the Gold A section since it's the closest possible I could be at.

Calling all titas, titos, ninangs and ninongs! (: Haha

with love, Nadine

Forgive me?

Forgive me for being M.I.A for more than a month now. It's been a pretty busy month since the second term of college started and I promised myself to focus more on school! Yes, I'm a renewed woman now and I think I'll be staying like this for a long time. Well until I graduate from college and find a decent job -___- After that, I can be free as a bird!

Haven't really been going out and nothing worth-blogging about has happened but I have a new photo I wanna share! Haha

I'm so happy with my new nail color (: I've been looking for a metallic shade but I couldn't find the exact one so I opted for a glittery one and it works! It's the closest color I could find.

On a totally unrelated note, I hope to be really busy this holiday season! My cousin and I are planning on something really big to do and I hope it'll be a success. I will post photos if that happens. I will work on my writing skills more though!

Goodbye 17. Hello 18.

Usually, I get really excited months before my birthday. I plan impossible things and I exaggerate a lot too. This is not new for a young woman like me. Yes, that sounds weird but I am a young woman now. Talking to friends about how I should celebrate it, endlessly begging my parents for a party (which by the way, I had when I was 1 year old until I was 12 or 13? That, I'm not sure of.) and counting the days before my birthday is awful.

Last year, I happily celebrated my birthday with my close friends. Sadly, one of my best friends didn't get to spend the day with me. Oh yes, she has been M.I.A for almost a year now too. Anyway, this year isn't different from last year. A year before my birthday, I was looking at online shops listing the items I want. 3 months before November, I was excitingly thinking of stuff I wanna do with friends. A couple of weeks before my birth month, I tweeted a blogger whom I admire, Raleene Cabrera and asked her what she did when she was 18 and replied to me that she only had dinner with her family and a few friends; plus, she doesn't believe on spending millions for a grand party. A day before my birthday, I am sitting here and have no idea on what to do on my one special day.

These past few days, I have been really emotional because I think I deserve to be happy too. Everyone deserves to be happy. Why can't I be happy?

Alas! The last photo I took before becoming 18. I will be missing you, younger Nadine!

P.S. The photo is a lie, I'm not really happy.

Till My Heartaches End - Review

Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson have yet again joined forces for their much-awaited movie of the year. I was actually enthralled when I saw the trailer of this movie just a couple of days ago, not knowing that it was their parting movie. Yes, it is their last movie together so I opted to catch this movie on the day of the premier nationwide.

Directed by Jose Javier Reyes, Till My Heartaches End has a more mature vibe in it. Something really new for the Chiu-Anderson tandem. The movie would have been a perfect 10 if they made the movie less dragging and more exciting.

The story started with the cousin of Agnes (Kim Chiu) telling their Aunt about what really happened. Agnes had nothing good to do in the movie but cry a lot and be desperate. Agnes met Paowie (Gerald Anderson) at a coffee shop one rainy night but that was not their last. They met again at a photocopy center where Paowie thought it was destiny that brought them together again. Yes, you heard me right. There is a lot of destiny involved in the movie.

Chiu proved the viewers that she can be a cry baby. Like seriously, can you give her a role without crying involved? On the other hand, Anderson didn't stand out that much in the movie. Or maybe the role was just not for him? I'm definitely not a Kimerald fan but the movie saddened me 'cause I was expecting a huge ending. Maybe the movie and their tandem's supposed to end that way. Paano Na Kaya (their last movie) was much better than this! Sorry but it's a 4/10 :(

In the meanwhile, you can watch the full trailer of the movie here:

One Crazy Obsession

I'm Down To Earth and would want a First Dance from my Baby. If only he Picks Me and I promise not to Runaway, Love! :P Hahahaha! I know that U can make me Smile with whatever you're doing. Well, enough with these nonsense thoughts! Haha, I think you know who I'm talking about right? Yezzzzz, the main man! Justin Bieber!

If you're not yet aware, yes I'm crazy in love with Justin Bieber for more than a year now. It started when I was tired browsing the web and decided to watch some MTV. And there it was, his first music video (One Time).

Then, the day when he followed me on Twitter! It was a big deal, okay? If you're a belieber, you know how big deal that is! :P

I even bought his first album. A proof that I really love him :)

I even customized a shirt and wore it out! For a 17-year-old girl, that's too much I think? My friends thought it was funny :|

I even asked my Aunt to buy me Justin Bieber's second album in Canada 'cause I was hoping I'd win the golden ticket! But sadly, the tickets says "Sorry! Keep looking for the big ticket . . ." Of course, I was sad but that didn't stop me from being his fan! Hehe

That's my current desktop wallpaper by the way.

To end this post, I just wanna say that you all should support Justin Bieber's upcoming movie! It's gonna be in 3-D so I know it's gonna be sick. Here's the trailer! (:

Taylor Swift: Speak Now

The lovely Taylor Swift recently released her new album, Speak Now which has been long awaited by her fans. The album consists of 14 tracks plus 6 bonus tracks.

1. Mine
2. Sparks Fly
3 Back to December
4. Speak Now
5. Dear John
6. Mean
7. The Story of Us
8 Never Grow Up
9. Enchanted
10. Better Than Revenge
11. Innocent
12. Haunted
13. Last Kiss
14. Long Live

About the album, "These songs are open letters. Each is written with a specific person in mind, telling them what I meant to tell them in person. To the beautiful boy whose heart I broke in December. To my first love who I never thought would be my first heartbreak. To my band. To a mean man I used to be afraid of. To someone who made my world very dark for a while. To a girl who stole something of mine. To someone I forgive for what he said in front of the whole world."

Each song is dedicated to specific people that has been in her life. May it be positive or negative, but I still think they're all negative in a funny and sad way. Dear John (reportedly about John Mayer), Mean (reportedly about Joe Jonas), Innocent (obviously about Kanye West), Better than Revenge (reportedly about Camilla Belle, the girl who dated Joe after Taylor) and in my opinion Enchanted (for Adam Young from Owl City).

My personal favorite, Better than Revenge! Why? Let's just say that I can relate with every word she wrote! Taylor Swift said, "The song Better Than Revenge is about a girl who uhm a few years ago stole my boyfriend. I think she probably thought that I forgot about it but I didn’t." Well I think every girl can relate to every song Taylor writes. She's too talented, that's why everyone loves her!

Nuffnang and PLDT myDSL Special Screening

Nuffnang in cooperation with PLDT myDSL has a special screening to the much awaited movie, The Social Network. Everyone can be part of this great event as long as you're a Nuffnang blogger! Easy right? So here's my attempt on being part of the said event.

The Social Network is to Facebook, as PLDT myDSL modem+wifi is the reason for my addiction online!

Talking about attempts, my family had much difficulty in finding the perfect internet service provider. Of course I wouldn't name them 'cause they might sue me for that! But anyway, you can see them in different ads offering a "very good" quality for everyone but the price is too good to be true. The customer gets all excited then bam! You realize that everything is just a hoax.

With PLDT myDSL, everyone can experience a legit high-speed internet connection! For as low as P1,000 you can enjoy chatting with your friends on Facebook and still get the quality that has been guaranteed to you! We were a little hesitant at first with PLDT myDSL but when my friends told me that the connection is great wherever you go, we decided to try it too. And until now, I have no regrets with my family's decision.

So if you don't believe me, you should see it for yourself!

Visit PLDT my DSL for your inquiries and subscription!

Never Say Never

SWAG!

'Tis the season to be jolly, fralalalala-la-la-la-la-la! Well not yet! But here on The Purple Centipede, it's never too early to give some stuff away. That's right, you heard me! I'm planning on throwing an online contest so I need all of you out there! I'm not sure with the mechanics yet and I'm still figuring out what the game is all about but one thing I'm sure of is that I'm giving away . . . (can't tell you yet!)

This one's just a practice post to see how many of you would visit my blog. When I get the number of viewers/followers I need, I will post the mechanics! The sooner, the better! It's my first online contest so I'm really excited! Don't let me down, haha!

Who Owns My Heart

As you may have heard, the teen star Miley Cyrus released her latest music video "Who Owns My Heart" which has been criticized for being too provocative. They are saying that it's too racy and inappropriate since she has fans all over the world whom are young girls.

Well if you ask me, it's not really that bad since everyone has the freedom to do anything (as long as it's legal, of course). Plus, this issue is not something new since Miley has been panned by everyone with almost everything she does. I mean, come on; give the girl a break! And what's wrong with Miley being the typical American teenage girl?!

If you haven't seen the music video, click away! You be the judge.

Happy October!

A random post for the month of October! An awesome way to start the month, a new haircut!

My friends were saying that they can't believe I chopped off my long locks. I couldn't believe it either but I wanted to get this so 'twas all good! Anyway, it feels so good to have short hair after about 2 years of trying to grow my hair long. Plus, my hair's not THAT short y'know! It's more manageable now and it feels so light.

On a totally unrelated note, 30 days before my birthday! Wooot! I'm turning 18 so I'm pretty excited (: I'm getting older naoooo :"""""">

Yabadabadoo!

I'm still aliiiiiiiiive! After being M.I.A for a couple of weeks, I'm back! I've been so busy that I forgot about my baby.

This one's just a quick post from my favorite childhood cartoon! Happy 50th anniversary The Flintstones! (If not for Google, I wouldn't have known! So, thank you Google!)

I guess I was not the only one who enjoyed watching Fred get annoyed by Dino. But really, who can forget about the sweet little Pebbles? Oh how cute she was!

And a baby boy that's really strong? That's Bamm-Bamm Rubble!

I don't know but I think Pebbles grew up into one pretty girl but wait, what happened to our dear Bamm-Bamm?! Okay, just see for yourself!

Okay, what's with the stick-like arms?! It's pretty disturbing.

My Own Wittle PHOTOGRAPHER

Since I have been constantly whining about wanting a new camera for my blog, I've talked someone (a secret for now) into becoming my official photographer. Well at least until I get a hold of my soon-to-be camera! Hopefully by November I get a new one since it's my birth month! Ha! Am I wise or what?! Well, he/she's a close friend plus we've been planning something big to do real soon!

Here are a few of his/her shots. . .

That's not him/her by the way! Haha

BACS.

Having no sleep was okay but being munched on by mosquitoes was definitely no fun! :| Last night, we spent our Friday evening at our school for BACS (Bicol Association for Catholic Schools). Different Catholic schools gathered for this meaningful event. I've never seen our campus being jam packed late at night so that means that the event was really a hit. Well actually, people were there late at night because they had no choice; the gates were closed at 9PM so no one can go out.

There were lots of parallel activities available last night but we chose to do some hand painting and rag doll making to entertain ourselves.

This is Carla's artwork but mine's prettier! Hahaha! /kidding :P

While they were busy stitching up some rag dolls. . .

I had my epic fail moment and didn't get to finish what I was doing :( Sorry but my stitching powers aren't THAT good :| I had it all messed up for some reasons.

Meanwhile, my friend Sabs did a very good job on her pattern! Hahaha! How can she put the stuffings in if she stitched the whole thing? Okay, a fail moment for her too! Lol, I'm not alone!

Hey Where You winners, that's us!

Remember my post with when I asked for everyone's help for HEY WHERE YOU.com's online contest? Well you see, we received 130 "likes" from everyone (plus me)!

And because everyone helped us to win, we got a little something from HWY! =)

Aimee (my cousin) and I got two mouse pads from them! Oh how excited I am when the mailman knocked on our door.

I'm still a bit shocked! Hahaha! Getting pretty addicted with cameroid.com :P

But seriously, this one's my first official time in winning something online. The first one's from the Manila Concert Scene's contest a couple of months ago. Sadly, I didn't get to claim the prize 'cause I couldn't be in Manila that time. So I'm really psyched with this one! Happy happy joy joy! :)

Again, a massive THANK YOU to Hey Where You.com! More power and more contests for everyone please! Haha!

Be Aware.

Yes. Those babies are lying on concrete.

Yes. That bottle is empty.

Yes. Those are mosquitos swarming their little bodies.

Yes. This is the condition of Pakistan, at the moment.

A couple of weeks have gone by since the floods in Pakistan have flowed and the number of people effected by this are staggering & record breaking.

Over 20 MILLION PEOPLE.

That is MORE THAN THE COMBINED TOTAL of the 2004 Tsunami, the 2005 Kashmir earthquake, the 2010 Haiti earthquake, and the American Katrina disaster.

How many of you knew about this? It’s a shame at the extreme lack of coverage on this horrific disaster. Pakistan is getting MINIMAL help.

Ignorance never ends, a recent poll was taken in America on whether if they would donate or have donated to Pakistan or not. 67% DO NOT wish or want to help Pakistan. 67%.

And as for the donations that are being sent… 60% of aid needed now, has not been delivered. Who has them & why haven’t they reached the public?

I was born in Karachi, Pakistan. My city is located in the south region of Pakistan (Sindh province). I can not fathom the words….The amount of hurt I am feeling.

No one is helping.

I try to blog about it daily…only getting a few notes or so..I post a picture of myself and income the notes and comments. What I’m trying to say is, Please…take note of this. These people are innocent and now they are homeless and sick. Children are dying quickly due to the lack of care. People have drowned, crops are ruined..animals are dead, & homes are gone. It is being speculated that my city will eventually drown since it’s already low. The floods haven’t hurt my region yet but they have affected my friends & families home and so many other innocent people.

This picture breaks my heart..I want you all to look at this picture. What do you see?

Do you see terrorists? Do you see future killers? Do you see another plot against America? Do you see that in those mosquitoes that can possibly and most likely have left diseases such as malaria? Do you see harm in that empty bottle?

Extremists are the ones to blame, not Muslims. Why should we be left hopeless? We didn’t do anything.

And as for the Qu’ran burning this weekend in Florida, I believe….

The thought of that night makes me cry. Do you all understand the severity and ignorance of that act? Why isn’t anyone stopping them? My religion, my faith didn’t hurt you. EXTREMISTS DID. They are NOT religious. My faith is NOT a cult.

I don’t know what to do. I honestly don’t know. I’ve never felt this helpless. No one is helping, no one cares. Fuck neither do my own best friends know much about this.

Just look at this picture and think about what you’ve just read.

Help. Please.

If you can…I’m not asking for a shitload of cash. But please, try to donate. Donating to UNICEF will send aid to children. Donate to the Red Cross & the UN Foundation. I trust the most in these three foundations, they’ve actually managed to send and successfully help the victims.

One-fifth of the country is under water; 20 million+ people are homeless. All I ask if for you to help a little and spread awareness.

A repost I did from Saab Magalona.

TAYLOR MOMSEN

Who is Taylor Momsen? You may know her from the popular TV series in CW, Gossip Girl. Or maybe you've seen her in The Grinch. Yes, she's the adorable girl in the movie. But what happened to her now? Maybe she decided to choose a different light for her career. Well you see, I never liked her :| Sorry but it's just my opinion (sorry for the Momen fans out there).
She played Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl. At first, she was this cute gal but in the long run, she turns into this ungrateful-trying-hard-lying-social-climber b*tch. And oh, she wears lots of make-up, swears much, praises the demons, sings about death, sex at the age of 17!

And let's not forget about her "not knowing" who Justin Bieber is. Like hello? Everyone knows JB!
And you think that I'm just making these things up? Lol, even Google thinks I'm right about her.

La PhotoCabine

Caution: This is a very random post! Ha!

While I was on Facebook, I came across a photo which a friend posted and I was really interested so I looked for the website on where she and her friend posed for a virtual photo booth! And yes, photos come out like those developed ones that are from that machine. Okay, I sound really dorky but I don't care 'cause I've been enjoying in front of my laptop posing for the photo booth :P Okay, I should stop now 'cause I sound lame already. So if you're interested, you should check out La PhotoCabine and be amazed!

Here are my photos by the way :P I'm having so much fun so go and click the link! Hahahaha!

NEW CAMERA, WHERE ART THOU?

This post might have several rants coming from me. Read if you wanna learn about them. /smiling

I've done a post about me needing (wanting) a new camera and until now I haven't saved up enough moolah for it :( Why do I need a new camera?
1) I want high quality photos. I have my BlackBerry and the photos are good but it isn't good enough for this blog. Sorry BB phone but momma still love you.
2) My first camera's dead now, well at least I think it is although the memory card's just the whole problem. I had the Nikon COOLPIX 4300 and it was the best I had. I told mom I needed a new memory card but she still has not bought one yet :( So yes, I'm stuck with my phone camera.
3) Whenever I see blogs with HQ photos, I become envious. I know it's bad but I'm bad so it's okay. /laughing *___*
4) I have my visitors and I want to give them good; no, great photos!

I know ranting would bring no good but what gives! So for now, I'm saying that we should all be happy with my phone photos! Hahaha! I know I didn't bring any point in this post but you just have to bare with me.

PAGBABAGO

Goldilocks has been part of us for over 4o years already and they have been with our family, friends, colleagues, etc. through thick and thin so it's just right to honor them with this one.

I was kind of hesitant whether to post this or not because I didn't know if my life's a big deal to others. Although my story's huge for me 'cause for real, Goldilocks truly became one of the reason for this inspiration of mine. Unfortunately, Goldilocks wasn't with us in Camarines Sur way back so whenever mom and dad head up north they never forget to bring my sister and I some pasalubong especially their mamons because first of all, we love them!

Last year, SM City Naga finished its construction. Finally, the long wait was over! We instantly went to check if there was a Goldilocks branch (because there were rumors that there was one) and there it was, the first Goldilocks in Bicol. Our frustration in going to Manila just to get some Goldilocks treats had been gone for we had it here already. One year had passed and we still can't get over on how they have their branch here, it's just so yummy! And now, we have 2 branches in Bicol! One's in downtown and it just opened recently. Talk about being really excited about it. :)

Goldilocks has been a great part of my life ever since I tasted their Cheesy Ensaymada, it was my first treat from them. Oh how heavenly it was that I wanted some more. Although different bakeshop's made it's way here in Bicol, we still opted for the number one in our hearts --Goldilocks!

So clearly, there isn't really a story to tell. Nothing really changed because of Goldilocks. Actually, there was. Goldilocks enlightened me in choosing the right choices in life. Like I chose them over something really not worth it. Yes, people make mistakes but it's still up for us to choose the right path to take on. And I can proudly say, Goldilocks is my number one :)

Oh yea, before I forget. If you wanna make the right choices in life, better check their website and I promise you that you'll never regret it! ;)
GOLDILOCKS.
