Till My Heartaches End - Review

Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson have yet again joined forces for their much-awaited movie of the year. I was actually enthralled when I saw the trailer of this movie just a couple of days ago, not knowing that it was their parting movie. Yes, it is their last movie together so I opted to catch this movie on the day of the premier nationwide.

Directed by Jose Javier Reyes, Till My Heartaches End has a more mature vibe in it. Something really new for the Chiu-Anderson tandem. The movie would have been a perfect 10 if they made the movie less dragging and more exciting.

The story started with the cousin of Agnes (Kim Chiu) telling their Aunt about what really happened. Agnes had nothing good to do in the movie but cry a lot and be desperate. Agnes met Paowie (Gerald Anderson) at a coffee shop one rainy night but that was not their last. They met again at a photocopy center where Paowie thought it was destiny that brought them together again. Yes, you heard me right. There is a lot of destiny involved in the movie.

Chiu proved the viewers that she can be a cry baby. Like seriously, can you give her a role without crying involved? On the other hand, Anderson didn't stand out that much in the movie. Or maybe the role was just not for him? I'm definitely not a Kimerald fan but the movie saddened me 'cause I was expecting a huge ending. Maybe the movie and their tandem's supposed to end that way. Paano Na Kaya (their last movie) was much better than this! Sorry but it's a 4/10 :(

In the meanwhile, you can watch the full trailer of the movie here:

One Crazy Obsession

I'm Down To Earth and would want a First Dance from my Baby. If only he Picks Me and I promise not to Runaway, Love! :P Hahahaha! I know that U can make me Smile with whatever you're doing. Well, enough with these nonsense thoughts! Haha, I think you know who I'm talking about right? Yezzzzz, the main man! Justin Bieber!

If you're not yet aware, yes I'm crazy in love with Justin Bieber for more than a year now. It started when I was tired browsing the web and decided to watch some MTV. And there it was, his first music video (One Time).

Then, the day when he followed me on Twitter! It was a big deal, okay? If you're a belieber, you know how big deal that is! :P

I even bought his first album. A proof that I really love him :)

I even customized a shirt and wore it out! For a 17-year-old girl, that's too much I think? My friends thought it was funny :|

I even asked my Aunt to buy me Justin Bieber's second album in Canada 'cause I was hoping I'd win the golden ticket! But sadly, the tickets says "Sorry! Keep looking for the big ticket . . ." Of course, I was sad but that didn't stop me from being his fan! Hehe

That's my current desktop wallpaper by the way.

To end this post, I just wanna say that you all should support Justin Bieber's upcoming movie! It's gonna be in 3-D so I know it's gonna be sick. Here's the trailer! (:

Taylor Swift: Speak Now

The lovely Taylor Swift recently released her new album, Speak Now which has been long awaited by her fans. The album consists of 14 tracks plus 6 bonus tracks.

1. Mine
2. Sparks Fly
3 Back to December
4. Speak Now
5. Dear John
6. Mean
7. The Story of Us
8 Never Grow Up
9. Enchanted
10. Better Than Revenge
11. Innocent
12. Haunted
13. Last Kiss
14. Long Live

About the album, "These songs are open letters. Each is written with a specific person in mind, telling them what I meant to tell them in person. To the beautiful boy whose heart I broke in December. To my first love who I never thought would be my first heartbreak. To my band. To a mean man I used to be afraid of. To someone who made my world very dark for a while. To a girl who stole something of mine. To someone I forgive for what he said in front of the whole world."

Each song is dedicated to specific people that has been in her life. May it be positive or negative, but I still think they're all negative in a funny and sad way. Dear John (reportedly about John Mayer), Mean (reportedly about Joe Jonas), Innocent (obviously about Kanye West), Better than Revenge (reportedly about Camilla Belle, the girl who dated Joe after Taylor) and in my opinion Enchanted (for Adam Young from Owl City).

My personal favorite, Better than Revenge! Why? Let's just say that I can relate with every word she wrote! Taylor Swift said, "The song Better Than Revenge is about a girl who uhm a few years ago stole my boyfriend. I think she probably thought that I forgot about it but I didn’t." Well I think every girl can relate to every song Taylor writes. She's too talented, that's why everyone loves her!

Nuffnang and PLDT myDSL Special Screening

Nuffnang in cooperation with PLDT myDSL has a special screening to the much awaited movie, The Social Network. Everyone can be part of this great event as long as you're a Nuffnang blogger! Easy right? So here's my attempt on being part of the said event.

The Social Network is to Facebook, as PLDT myDSL modem+wifi is the reason for my addiction online!

Talking about attempts, my family had much difficulty in finding the perfect internet service provider. Of course I wouldn't name them 'cause they might sue me for that! But anyway, you can see them in different ads offering a "very good" quality for everyone but the price is too good to be true. The customer gets all excited then bam! You realize that everything is just a hoax.

With PLDT myDSL, everyone can experience a legit high-speed internet connection! For as low as P1,000 you can enjoy chatting with your friends on Facebook and still get the quality that has been guaranteed to you! We were a little hesitant at first with PLDT myDSL but when my friends told me that the connection is great wherever you go, we decided to try it too. And until now, I have no regrets with my family's decision.

So if you don't believe me, you should see it for yourself!

Visit PLDT my DSL for your inquiries and subscription!

Never Say Never

SWAG!

'Tis the season to be jolly, fralalalala-la-la-la-la-la! Well not yet! But here on The Purple Centipede, it's never too early to give some stuff away. That's right, you heard me! I'm planning on throwing an online contest so I need all of you out there! I'm not sure with the mechanics yet and I'm still figuring out what the game is all about but one thing I'm sure of is that I'm giving away . . . (can't tell you yet!)

This one's just a practice post to see how many of you would visit my blog. When I get the number of viewers/followers I need, I will post the mechanics! The sooner, the better! It's my first online contest so I'm really excited! Don't let me down, haha!

Who Owns My Heart

As you may have heard, the teen star Miley Cyrus released her latest music video "Who Owns My Heart" which has been criticized for being too provocative. They are saying that it's too racy and inappropriate since she has fans all over the world whom are young girls.

Well if you ask me, it's not really that bad since everyone has the freedom to do anything (as long as it's legal, of course). Plus, this issue is not something new since Miley has been panned by everyone with almost everything she does. I mean, come on; give the girl a break! And what's wrong with Miley being the typical American teenage girl?!

If you haven't seen the music video, click away! You be the judge.

Happy October!

A random post for the month of October! An awesome way to start the month, a new haircut!

My friends were saying that they can't believe I chopped off my long locks. I couldn't believe it either but I wanted to get this so 'twas all good! Anyway, it feels so good to have short hair after about 2 years of trying to grow my hair long. Plus, my hair's not THAT short y'know! It's more manageable now and it feels so light.

On a totally unrelated note, 30 days before my birthday! Wooot! I'm turning 18 so I'm pretty excited (: I'm getting older naoooo :"""""">
